Our client, a worldwide leader in the manufacturing and hire of Modular building units, is looking for multiple electricians with different levels of experience to join their Inverurie Factory workshop, starting ASAP for a 3-4 month project. This could be extended to further contracts.
The Role: As an Electrician, you will play a crucial role in the electrical installation for a large number of sleeper cabins being manufactured on site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and maintain electrical wiring, outlets, lighting, and control systems within the Modulars.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to plan layouts.
- Test electrical systems to ensure functionality and adherence to safety standards.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults in collaboration with the fabrication team.
- Work with other trades to integrate electrical components with plumbing, HVAC, and structural elements.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies during all stages of work.
Experience:
- Proven experience as an Electrician.
- 18 edition Inspection & Testing Cert - preferred.
- A recognized electrical qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Job Details:
- Competitive hourly rates + Overtime @ 1.5X - £25.50 CIS / £22.50 PAYE.
- AdvPAYE, Umbrella or CIS payment method available.
- Based in Inverurie 0800 - 1630 any overtime 1.5X pay.
