Our client, a worldwide leader in the manufacturing and hire of Modular building units, is looking for multiple electricians with different levels of experience to join their Inverurie Factory workshop, starting ASAP for a 3-4 month project. This could be extended to further contracts.

The Role: As an Electrician, you will play a crucial role in the electrical installation for a large number of sleeper cabins being manufactured on site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and maintain electrical wiring, outlets, lighting, and control systems within the Modulars.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to plan layouts.
  • Test electrical systems to ensure functionality and adherence to safety standards.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults in collaboration with the fabrication team.
  • Work with other trades to integrate electrical components with plumbing, HVAC, and structural elements.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies during all stages of work.

Experience:

  • Proven experience as an Electrician.
  • 18 edition Inspection & Testing Cert - preferred.
  • A recognized electrical qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Job Details:

  • Competitive hourly rates + Overtime @ 1.5X - £25.50 CIS / £22.50 PAYE.
  • AdvPAYE, Umbrella or CIS payment method available.
  • Based in Inverurie 0800 - 1630 any overtime 1.5X pay.
