Overview
Nal's Bakery is looking for a reliable driver to assist on market trading days.
The role initially involves transporting freshly baked goods between the North London kitchen and Lower Marsh Market, with opportunities to take on additional responsibilities as the business grows.
The driver will collect baked goods from Highgate (N6) and safely transport stock to Lower Marsh Market, Waterloo.
Help unload cakes on arrival and return later in the afternoon to collect any remaining stock.
Help unload stock back at the kitchen.
There may be opportunities to progress into a Market Sales Assistant role, assisting with market trading, customer service and event work.
Responsibilities
- Transport freshly baked goods between the North London kitchen, Highgate (N6), and Lower Marsh Market, Waterloo.
- Collect baked goods from Highgate and deliver to the market locations as required.
- Safely unload cakes on arrival and assist with unloading stock back at the kitchen.
- Return later in the afternoon to collect any remaining stock.
- Support market trading, customer service and event work as opportunities arise.
- Adhere to the working pattern (see below) and maintain punctuality and reliability.
- Working Pattern
Morning collection: around 7:30am-8:30am. Afternoon collection: around 3:00pm-4:00pm. Regular weekday work with potential for additional event days throughout the year.
