We are looking for a professional, reliable and hardworking 7.5T Driver to join our waste collection team.

The role involves driving a 7.5-tonne caged tipper to scheduled waste collection jobs, assisting with loading where required, and transporting waste to authorised disposal/tipping facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect the company vehicle at the start of the working day.
  • Travel to scheduled waste collection bookings safely and on time.
  • Provide a professional and friendly service when dealing with customers.
  • Assist the team with loading waste into the vehicle when required.
  • Secure loads correctly and operate the vehicle safely and responsibly.
  • Transport collected waste to the designated disposal/tipping facility.
  • Ensure the vehicle is tipped and emptied on time each day.
  • Keep the cab and vehicle reasonably clean and presentable.
  • Complete basic daily vehicle safety checks and report any faults or damage.
  • Return the vehicle to the designated location at the end of the working day.

  • A valid Digital Tachograph Card, where required
  • A suitable driving record for commercial vehicle insurance

Previous experience driving 7.5T vehicles, caged tippers, waste collection vehicles, removals vehicles or similar commercial vehicles would be an advantage.
