The company: Driver Project Services are a part of Diales Plc, a global multidisciplinary consultancy firm which has operated in the UK and overseas for over 45 years, providing commercial and dispute related services to the construction and engineering industries.
Driver Project Services offer a full range of planning, project management and commercial management services for both construction and civil engineering projects.
The Role: Candidates must be able to demonstrate some of the following:
- Must have EPC Project experience
- Experience in Oil and Gas / petrochemical Plant
- Experience in developing all level of schedules from first principles, utilising scope of work documents and liaising with engineers and subcontractors.
- Must have the ability to work standalone and within a project team.
- Able to develop logical phasing from design, through construction, and understand interrelationships between disciplines in all phases.
- Able to incorporate EWs and CEs into baseline schedules.
- Able to understand the relationship between a WBS and a level 3 schedule.
- Able to develop the WBS.
- Understands how a full cost analysis or estimate will be used to generate resource loading.
- Able to produce histograms / S Curves.
- Interface closely with offsite subcontractors and update / integrate subcontractor programs / progress within a master schedule.
- Report the weekly status of the work and prepare detailed project reports and KPIs.
- Provide weekly schedule updates against the project baseline.
- Ensure that the project management are kept fully informed of the project status and that work planning and execution objectives are integrated and fully communicated.
- Provide planning support to proposals dept on an as and when necessary basis.
Qualification/Experience:
- Have experience in a project planning/control environment, with experience of computerised scheduling systems (Primavera P6)
- Competent level of expertise in the use of Microsoft Excel/Word
- Excellent Planning & Organising Skills.
- Excellent Communication/Interpersonal skills.
