Driver Project Services are seeking a Senior Planning Engineer and Planning Engineer to support a major large-scale power project in Scotland on a hybrid basis between Glasgow and Teesside or WFH.
Key responsibilities include:
- Planner: 5+ demonstrable years experience in planning
- Senior Planner: 10+ demonstrable years experience in Planning, with experience of line managing planners/data analysts.
- Essential experience in Infrastructure / HV Cabling / Substations / Over Head Lines / Civils / Helicopter access.
- An understanding of how to plan longitudinal projects.
- Some Oil and Gas, Major Projects, EPC experience.
- Experience in developing level 3 schedules from first principles, utilising scope of work documents and liaising with engineers and subcontractors.
- Must be able to develop logical phasing from design, through construction, and understand interrelationships between disciplines in all phases.
- Must be able to demonstrate the development of a level 3 schedule in P6, within a WBS, utilising full cost analysis to generate resource loading.
- Able to produce histograms / S Curves.
- Will be prepared to spend 3+ days working on site in Glasgow.
- Will require occasional visits to working location in northern Scotland, approx 2-3 days per month.
