As a Lead technical engineer within DVSA for the roadside infrastructure and systems service to support the enforcement operation in effective detection, targeting, stopping and enforcement.
Agency subject matter expert in Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) and Weigh In Motion Sensors (WIMS) providing comprehensive and authoritative advise to senior stakeholders, representing DVSA and Df T at industry and government events.

As the senior subject matter expert for the end to end ANPR service, ensure ongoing service performance, which as key mission critical IT business systems, supports the Agency's effective roadside enforcement Lead on the identification, planning and installation of new ANPR and WIMS sites across GB Proactively instigate the collation and input from the Enforcement Service Manager, project teams and the wider organisation in order to ensure ANPR supports the overall service objectives.
This enables the role holder to identify and resolve current performance issues and provide potential solutions for the future.
