As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, building, and evolving high-impact digital platforms and services that serve millions across the UK. You will work independently, take ownership of infrastructure, software and data management solutions using Agile methodologies, and mentor junior engineers.

Responsibilities
- Deploy services using Infrastructure as Code (including Terraform) and an automation first approach.
- Design, standardise and maintain Azure DevOps CI/CD and Dynamics pipelines, including testing, security scanning, compliance checks and reusable templates.
- Support release and application life‑cycle management across multiple environments.
- Apply cloud security best practices, support audits and ensure services meet compliance requirements.
- Optimise platform performance, reliability, cost and operational efficiency through proactive monitoring and analysis.
- Provide technical guidance, troubleshoot complex engineering issues and share best practice across teams.
- Mentor and support engineers across teams to resolve complex technical challenges.
- Develop, enhance and maintain solutions that put the user and user experience first.
- Foster continuous improvement of services through identification and implementation of end‑to‑end system improvements.
- Demonstrate leadership by influencing, directing, and guiding engineers and developers to support delivery of objectives.
- Maintain a broad range of CI/CD technologies including Azure DevOps, Power Platform, Dynamics, GitHub, Terraform, Jira and Confluence.
