You will work closely with a range of stakeholders, balancing business priorities, user needs, and regulatory requirements to drive improvement and innovation. This is an exciting opportunity to influence product strategy, shape future enhancements, and lead digital transformation in a collaborative and customer-focused environment. Your responsibilities will include, but aren't limited to: Working closely with the Service Owner to maintain and communicate the vision for the EMS product, ensuring it is clearly understood by the immediate team, the wider service team, and key stakeholders. Providing leadership to your Product Specialists, enabling them to deliver products aligned with the service vision and equipping them to share detailed product knowledge with stakeholders, including DVSA Operations, Digital Services and Technology, DfT, and industry representatives. Creating and prioritising a product backlog, writing clear and actionable user stories, and making informed decisions based on data. Developing an expert understanding of user needs and championing these throughout product delivery. Engaging with users and stakeholders through multiple channels to drive adoption and effective use of the product. Set and maintain appropriate product standards, service levels and quality measures, ensuring EMS meets the Digital Service Standard and delivers an effective, consistent and accessible user experience. Person specification To be successful in this role you will need to have the following experience: Experience of delivering high quality, digital products Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Experience of interpretation of policy and legislation using this information to design and implement products Experience of working as part of a digital delivery team or knowledge and experience of scrum delivery methods Experience in providing subject matter expertise of products to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and technical standards. Additional Information Working hours, office attendance and travel requirements Full-time roles consist of 37 hours per week. Whilst we welcome applications from those looking to work with us on a part-time basis, there is a business requirement for the successful candidate to be able to work at least 35 hours per week over 5 days. This role is suitable for hybrid working, which is a non-contractual arrangement where a combination of workplace and home-based working can be accommodated subject to business requirements. The expectation at present is a minimum of 60% of your working time a month will be spent at either your designated workplace (one of the locations cited in the advert) or, when required for business reasons, in another office/work location/visiting stakeholders. Your designated workplace will be your contractual place of work. There may be occasions where you are required to attend above the minimum expectation. Occasional travel to other offices will be required, which may involve overnight stays.
