Find out more about what it's like working at DVSA Job description The Brand Protection team, part of Corporate Communications, safeguards and enhances DVSA's reputation through effective management of its brands and intellectual property. Working across DVSA and with external partners, the team ensures consistent branding, supports road safety through licensed content, and maximises the value of DVSA's assets. It also ensures compliance with regulations while protecting Crown copyright, trademarks and identity, providing clear guidance that enables confident, consistent and impactful use of the DVSA brand. Your responsibilities will include, but aren't limited to: Copyright licensing and managing agreements, including payments and standards Reviewing products against criteria for allowable use Stakeholder management and communications, including customer care and disputes Investigation and enforcement of misuse of intellectual properties Subject matter expert on intellectual property and brand protection, advising and making recommendations to colleagues up to senior leadership Working with internal and external designers on protectable and effective designs and branding Digital asset manager Line manager with currently one member of staff Great line management is important to us as an organisation, and we will equip and support line managers to develop the skills they need. Person specification Required experience: To be successful in this role you will need to have the following experience: Strong understanding of branding and intellectual property, with the ability to drive commercial value and strategic impact Proven experience managing IP, including identifying and challenging infringements while ensuring compliance with guidelines Demonstrated experience managing contracts and building effective stakeholder relationships through coaching and mentoring This role is suitable for hybrid working, which is a non-contractual arrangement where a combination of workplace and home-based working can be accommodated subject to business requirements. The expectation at present is a minimum of 60% of your working time a month will be spent at either your designated workplace (one of the locations cited in the advert) or, when required for business reasons, in another office/work location/visiting stakeholders. Your designated workplace will be your contractual place of work. There may be occasions where you are required to attend above the minimum expectation. Additional Information This role is being advertised in Uxbridge, however the contractual base will be Yeading. While estates work is being carried out in Yeading all posts are being temporarily based at Uxbridge. Successful applicants will start with us at our Uxbridge location. However, everyone will be required to work from Yeading when it reopens in 2028. You will receive the London Weighting allowance of Β£4,000 while based at Uxbridge and this will continue when we move to Yeading. Visa Sponsorship Please note that we do not hold a UK Visa
