Responsibilities:
The post-holder is responsible for ensuring all administrative support activities are carried out efficiently and effectively for the Driver Services Business Services team, with a strong service focus that contributes to the effective delivery of Operations frontline services. The postholder will provide an efficient and professional service to the driver service directorate. Your responsibilities will include, but aren't limited to:
- Managing the Operations mailboxes, ensuring requests are triaged, escalated, and monitored as required.
- Acting as secretariat for key meetings and networks across Operations, drafting agendas, arranging guest attendance, taking action points, and assigning these to responsible owners.
- Extracting and sharing information pertaining to driver services risks with internal stakeholders as requested.
- Supporting the running of driver services events, identifying suitable venues, and assisting with the running of events on the day.
- Contributing to the development of robust business cases by obtaining relevant information on costs, performance, MI etc.
- Working in collaboration with colleagues across all functions for the good of DVSA and to create a high performing and well-respected Agency.
Key Requirements:
- Can you demonstrate excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment?
- Are you confident using a range of Microsoft Office 365 tools, including Forms and Live Events, as well as Word, Excel and PowerPoint?
