We are looking for proactive, friendly and safe drivers who would like to train to become fully qualified Driving Examiners.
Training and career
We will provide all the training you need to get your career off to an incredible start. Our test centres are grouped into clusters, so we ask you to select a cluster that is local to you. Once a job offer has been made, you will start your training online, before undertaking practical training at a local test centre. When this stage is complete, you will have up to three weeks of guidance at one of our regional training facilities before embarking on a fulfilling and varied career assessing the readiness of drivers who are seeking to secure their licences.
Day-to-day responsibilities
On a day-to-day basis you can expect to meet people from all walks of life as you oversee seven driving examinations a day. While many of these customers will be understandably nervous, you will use your exceptional people skills to put them at ease while you talk them through your instructions. Using a tablet to record your results, you will determine whether or not they are meeting the expected standards, and you will have the tact and diplomacy to deliver both positive and negative outcomes.
