This role supports the efficient delivery of driving tests across the UK. You will work closely with driving examiners to coordinate schedules, arrange appropriate cover, and ensure operational records are accurate and up to date. In collaboration with the Operational Management team, you will contribute to achieving performance targets, minimising customer waiting times, and supporting the effective and economical deployment of examiners.
Your responsibilities will include, but aren't limited to:
- Ensure consistent availability of test slots across all test centres, meeting the Agency's targets on waiting times.
- Apply sound judgement when deciding whether to cover or cancel appointments, particularly in situations where decisions must be made at short notice.
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate records for driving examiners, Approved Driving Instructors (ADIs), and test centres across internal systems.
- Encourage open and regular communication within the team to keep everyone aligned and working together.
To be successful in this role you will need to have the following experience:

- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
- Flexible and adaptable when dealing with change in a busy work setting.
- Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
Full time roles consist of 37 hours per week. Whilst we welcome applications from those looking to work with us on a part time basis, there is a business requirement for the successful candidate to be able to work at least 32 hours per week. This role is suitable for hybrid working, which is a non-contractual arrangement where a combination of workplace and home-based working can be accommodated subject to business requirements.
