User Services Testing & Assurance are primarily responsible for testing updates for iOS, Windows and Service Now. We also support the change programme by testing and assuring large, medium, and small changes which impact User Services. This ensures successful deployment into production, ensuring performance improvements and safeguarding our estate. We engage with our stakeholders to inform, support, effectively plan and feedback to ensure we deliver a service that is fit for purpose, quality assured and cost effective.
Responsibilities
- Join the User Services team and undertake testing activities for new and existing products within DVSA's IT portfolio to provide high quality results.
- Work with the User Services Testing and Assurance manager to identify key user groups to carry out testing of new or reviewed products within DVSA.
- Conduct testing of new hardware and software, collate evidence to support sound conclusions, and escalate any concerns.
- Ensure testing is undertaken following all DVSA processes and procedures.
- Provide general day to day advice and guidance to a variety of stakeholders.
- Provide support to the wider team to ensure continuous improvement is implemented to improve the testing service.
- Write and execute test scripts within Zephyr Scale.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience and knowledge of testing activities across IT systems and products.
- Knowledge and understanding of JIRA, Zephyr Scale, and Active Directory Administration.
- Ability to evidence testing management across key functional activities.
