As an Associate HR Business Partner, you will support the HR Business Partners (HRBPs) in delivering effective people solutions aligned to business needs. You will contribute to the development and implementation of HR initiatives, policies, and practices, with a particular focus on areas of specialism such as litigation, casework, policy, or organisational design. You will work collaboratively with colleagues across the People Directorate and the wider organisation to ensure consistent, fair, and effective HR support that enhances organisational performance and employee experience.
Top Responsibilities
- Work with HRBPs in delivering people plans, projects and supporting business areas with HR interventions.
- Provide advice and guidance to managers, ensuring consistency, compliance and positive customer experience.
- Support the implementation of change initiatives, including restructures, TUPE, and organisational design.
- Provide partnering support to frontline leaders through regular engagement to understand key business performance issues, objectives and drivers.
- In collaboration with the HRBPs, support frontline leaders to develop people plans to deliver business objectives.

To be successful in this role you will need to have the following experience:
- Experience of providing HR advice or policy implementation.
- Understanding of employment legislation and HR best practice.
- Ability to analyse and interpret HR data to support decision-making.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience of working in a customer-focused environment.
- Excellent relationship building and stakeholder management skills.
Additional Information
You will already have CIPD Associate membership or equivalent or be willing to work towards attaining this within 18 months in post. You will be required to provide evidence that you hold any essential qualifications/licenses at some point during the recruitment process.
