Contract Type: Permanent – Flexible working, Full-time, Job share, Part-time
You will liaise with customers, suppliers, and colleagues to maintain excellent service and ensure accurate stock receipting. Responsibilities include managing SAP inventory control, complying with DVLA stock requirements, and overseeing goods documentation and distribution. You’ll operate mechanical handling equipment safely, adhering to Health and Safety regulations. Additional duties include conducting audits, compiling reports, and providing key statistics to support the Stores Manager, ensuring operational efficiency and compliance across all processes.
Top Responsibilities:
- Leadership, providing advice, support, guidance and direction to stakeholders as necessary.
- Supervising and organising specific areas of DVLA Warehouses on a rota basis, and organising quarantine of stock destruction and disposal.
- Maintaining the integrity of high security stock in accordance with Agency policies and procedures.
- Reporting and recording all accidents, incidents, near misses, damage or faults to any vehicle or equipment and advising the Manager’s office (Inc. traffic offences).
- Adhering to Data Protection, Security, COSHH, Health and Safety policies and being able to evidence they are complied with.

About you:
To be successful in this role you will need to have the following experience:

- Commitment to maintaining and/or enforcing strict Health and Safety regulations.
