We are looking for an experienced and qualified vehicle technician to join our client, a fantastic service centre. Due to the expansion of the workshop they have an opening for a vehicle technician. The role requires previous experience as a vehicle technician/mechanic to carry out vehicle servicing, diagnose faults and maintain and repair customers’ vehicles.
Responsibilities
- Use diagnostic equipment to identify faults
- Explain technical information to customers in a clear manner
- Ensure that parts and systems are working correctly
- Carry out routine service checks (fluid level checks, tyre rotation, oil changes, etc.)
- Repair and replace vehicle parts
- Carry out routine maintenance on vehicles
- Keep the workspace clean and tidy
- Be mindful of health and safety in the workshop
Qualifications
- A Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (City & Guilds or equivalent)
