Term: Full Time, Permanent – Monday to Friday, Saturday morning on a rota

We are looking for an experienced and qualified vehicle technician to join our client, a fantastic service centre. Due to the expansion of the workshop they have an opening for a vehicle technician. The role requires previous experience as a vehicle technician/mechanic to carry out vehicle servicing, diagnose faults and maintain and repair customers’ vehicles.

Responsibilities

  • Use diagnostic equipment to identify faults
  • Explain technical information to customers in a clear manner
  • Ensure that parts and systems are working correctly
  • Carry out routine service checks (fluid level checks, tyre rotation, oil changes, etc.)
  • Repair and replace vehicle parts
  • Carry out routine maintenance on vehicles
  • Keep the workspace clean and tidy
  • Be mindful of health and safety in the workshop

Qualifications

  • A Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (City & Guilds or equivalent)
