About the Role
As a Vehicle Sales Administrator, you will be responsible for the accurate and efficient processing of vehicle orders from start to finish. Working closely with the sales team, finance companies, and manufacturers, you will ensure all documentation is correct and compliant, vehicles are taxed and registered, and customer handovers are prepared on time. This role requires excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline‑driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process new and used vehicle orders through manufacturer and internal systems
- Prepare and complete all relevant documentation for vehicle registration and taxation
- Monitor and update vehicle delivery schedules
- Liaise with the sales team, manufacturers and external finance companies
- Ensure all vehicle files are fully compliant with regulatory and internal requirements
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the DMS (Dealer Management System)
- Support general administrative tasks including invoicing and filing
- Provide ad‑hoc assistance to the Sales Manager and wider team as needed
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in a Vehicle Sales Administration role (preferred)
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
- Strong IT skills – confident using Excel, email and internal systems (DMS experience desirable)
- A team player with a proactive attitude and excellent organisational skills
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities
- Automotive industry experience advantageous but not essential for the right candidate
