Hours of work to be discussed and tailored to the right candidate. Drive Motor Retail is looking for a detail-oriented and organized Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our finance team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring timely payments, and supporting the smooth operation of the accounts department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Invoice Processing: Accurately process supplier invoices, ensuring correct coding and authorisation.
- Payment Management: Assist in the preparation of supplier payments, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Statement Reconciliation: Regularly reconcile supplier statements, investigating and resolving discrepancies.
- Query Resolution: Communicate with suppliers and internal teams to resolve invoice or payment queries efficiently.
- Data Entry & Record Keeping: Maintain accurate financial records, ensuring all transactions are recorded correctly.
- Supporting Month-End Processes: Assist with financial reporting and ledger reconciliation tasks as required.

- Previous experience in a purchase ledger or accounts payable role.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent numerical skills.
- Ability to work efficiently within deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
