Our client is looking for a Vehicle Damage Assessor to join their team in Portsmouth.
Description: The purpose of a VDA is to calculate costs accurately and inspect damage on a vehicle. All costs are to be sent over to insurance companies for them to confirm that the work needed to be done can go ahead. A VDA will have constant communication with the body shop to keep up to date on the repairs being done and completed.
What we are offering:
- Full time/Permanent
- Monday – Friday
- Basic Salary: Up to £45,000
- Achievable bonus (OTE £55k)
Qualification/Requirements:
- To inspect damaged vehicles and record all details specifically.
- To either create estimates on the correct programmes or manually calculating costs.
- Calculate costs and estimates for insurance companies to confirm.
- Make sure all repairs needed to be done are authorised by the insurance company.
- Communicate with the bodyshop to let them know what work is needing to be done.
- To try and improve profits for the company.
- Working to specific deadlines.
