Our client is seeking an experienced Vehicle Paint Sprayer to join their busy and professional bodyshop team in Croydon. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled paint technician looking for a stable, full-time role with excellent earning potential and no weekend work.
The Role
- Preparing vehicles for paintwork, including sanding, priming, masking, polishing, and buffing
- Mixing and applying paint to manufacturer standards
- Carrying out quality checks to ensure a flawless finish
- Identifying and reporting any defects or additional vehicle damage to the Bodyshop Manager
- Working efficiently to meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality workmanship
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
What’s on Offer
- Full-time, permanent position
- £45,000 – £55,000 basic salary
- Bonus scheme on top (OTE £65,000+)
- 45 hours per week
- Monday to Friday only – no weekends
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ current or recent experience as a Vehicle Paint Sprayer within a bodyshop environment
- Previous accident repair/bodyshop experience is essential
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Own tools required
- Able to work to deadlines and targets
- City & Guilds Level 3 in Automotive Body Repair (or equivalent)
- ATA accreditation is advantageous but not essential
