Our client is looking for an MET Technician in Dartford to join their highly skilled and well established team! Minimum of 1 years’ MET Technician or Strip and Fit experience required for this role!

Description: MET Technicians are responsible for the efficient and professional removal of motor vehicle parts so that they may be repaired and painted. MET Technicians are also involved in the refitting of the parts following successful repair/paint completion. Our technicians are responsible for carrying out repairs to damaged vehicles, conducting diagnosis and following relevant instructions on the job cards issued or as instructed by the Bodyshop Manager.

What we are offering:

  • Full time/Permanent.
  • Monday – Friday
  • 45 hours per week (Flexible if needed)
  • Basic salary: £45,000 - £55,000 Dependant on experience
  • Plus bonus on top!

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Current or very recent Bodyshop experience as an MET Technician of at least 1 year
  • Full UK driver’s license
  • Be able to work in a team and independently if needed
  • Achieve deadlines and targets that are set out.
  • You’ll need your own tools
  • City & Guild Level 3 (or equivalent) in Automotive Bodyshop Repair
  • ATA Qualification would be an advantage
  • Previous Bodyshop MET experience is essential
  • Rebuilding bodywork on damaged vehicles in a bonus bodyshop
