About the role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Property Manager to oversee the day-to-day operational management and performance of a designated Build to Rent (BTR) portfolio on behalf of a key client.
This is an excellent opportunity for a customer-focused property management professional who can combine strong operational expertise with exceptional resident service, client relationship management and commercial awareness.
You will take responsibility for ensuring properties are managed efficiently, compliance requirements are met, and residents receive a high-quality living experience. You will also play a key role in optimising asset performance through effective contractor management, financial oversight, performance reporting and proactive stakeholder engagement.
The successful candidate will have significant experience in residential property management, ideally within the Build to Rent or Private Rented Sector (PRS), and the confidence to manage complex issues while building strong relationships with clients, residents and service partners.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the day-to-day operational management of a designated Build to Rent portfolio, ensuring properties are maintained and managed to a consistently high standard.
Proactively identify and resolve operational issues that could affect resident satisfaction, property performance or service delivery.
Act as a key point of contact for clients, providing regular updates, advice and recommendations on portfolio performance.
Prepare and present operational performance reports, customer feedback, financial information and key risks clearly and professionally.
Manage client expectations, responding proactively to requests, concerns and opportunities for service improvement.
Manage complex resident enquiries and complaints through to resolution, ensuring fair, consistent and timely outcomes.
Act as an escalation point for customer issues, taking ownership and ensuring appropriate action is taken.
