- Proactively identify and resolve operational issues that could affect resident satisfaction, property performance or service delivery.
- Act as a key point of contact for clients, providing regular updates, advice and recommendations on portfolio performance.
- Prepare and present operational performance reports, customer feedback, financial information and key risks clearly and professionally.
- Manage client expectations, responding proactively to requests, concerns and opportunities for service improvement.
- Manage complex resident enquiries and complaints through to resolution, ensuring fair, consistent and timely outcomes.
- Act as an escalation point for customer issues, taking ownership and ensuring appropriate action is taken.
- Monitor budgets, service charge expenditure, contractor costs and operational performance metrics.
- Analyse portfolio data to identify trends, risks and opportunities to improve efficiency and overall performance.
- Maintain accurate property records, compliance documentation and resident information.
- Support audits and compliance reviews, ensuring all relevant documentation is complete, accurate and up to date.
- Build effective working relationships with contractors, service partners and internal stakeholders to maintain high service standards.
About you
You will be an experienced property management professional with a strong understanding of residential operations and a passion for delivering an excellent customer experience.
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
- Significant experience in residential property management.
- Experience managing Build to Rent, Private Rented Sector (PRS) or large residential property portfolios.
- A strong track record of delivering client-facing reports, performance updates and operational recommendations.
- Experience managing complex resident enquiries, complaints and escalated customer issues.
- Experience overseeing contractors and external service partners, ensuring quality and value for money.
- A good understanding of property compliance, operational risk and residential management standards.
- Experience monitoring budgets, service charge expenditure and operational performance.
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the confidence to influence clients and engage effectively with residents.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach, with the ability to work independently and manage a portfolio remotely where required.
