What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll travel between our Service Centre in Wigan and Peterborough hospital to deliver mattresses and other medical equipment, in line with infection control policies and whilst ensuring high standards of care and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To deliver, collect and exchange medical equipment as required
  • Plan daily tasks for maximum efficiency
  • Cleaning any products returned to the service centre, such as hospital beds, mattresses, and spare parts from medical equipment which may be heavily soiled
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams and customers
  • Deliver exceptional customer service
  • Handle equipment safely and follow health & safety protocols
  • Maintain van stock and complete accurate paperwork
  • Maintain Company vehicle to a high standard
  • Support additional duties as required by management

What We’re Looking For - Skills & Experience:
Full training will be provided for the right candidate.

  • Manual handling and driving skills
  • Emotional resilience when working with vulnerable customers
  • A pro-active and can do attitude
  • This role involves the daily moving and handling of heavy items. Some items can also be awkward to lift or move.
