Are you hands-on, customer-focused and looking for a role where no two days are the same? We're looking for a Driver Technician to join our team, delivering exceptional service to customers across the region.

In this varied role, you'll be responsible for servicing, delivering, installing and collecting specialist healthcare equipment, including hospital beds and mattresses. You'll work directly with customers in healthcare settings and private homes, ensuring equipment is installed safely and users are confident in its operation.

This is a highly physical role involving frequent lifting, carrying, bending and moving of heavy and sometimes awkward items. You'll also be responsible for cleaning and decontaminating returned equipment to strict infection control standards, maintaining accurate records and ensuring excellent customer service at every interaction.

What we're looking for:

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • A proactive, reliable and professional approach
  • Comfortable with a physically demanding role involving heavy lifting and manual handling
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to health and safety
  • Ability to work independently and plan workloads effectively
  • Previous experience in delivery, field service, medical equipment, logistics, warehouse or healthcare support roles would be advantageous
  • A willingness to learn, undertake training and participate in an on-call rota

  • Service, install, exchange and collect healthcare equipment
  • Deliver training and support to customers
  • Clean and decontaminate medical equipment
  • Complete required paperwork and stock checks
  • Maintain company vehicles and equipment
