Are you looking for a hands-on role in a fast-paced warehouse environment? We are seeking a motivated and reliable Warehouse Operative to join our team. In this varied role, you'll be responsible for ensuring goods are received, stored, picked, packed and dispatched accurately and efficiently. You'll work closely with colleagues to maintain excellent service standards while ensuring all health and safety procedures are followed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Picking, packing and labelling customer orders accurately and on time
- Loading and unloading courier vehicles and containers
- Booking stock movements and courier collections using computerised systems
- Putting stock away and replenishing picking locations
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment
- Working both independently and as part of a team to meet daily targets
- Supporting goods-in and despatch operations as required
What We're Looking For:
- Previous warehouse experience
- Good communication and listening skills
- High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
- A proactive approach with strong organisational and time-management skills
- Confidence using basic Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
- A team player who can also use their own initiative
- Forklift or VNA licences would be advantageous but are not essential
