Were looking for a proactive and commercially savvy Buyer to help us drive efficiency, cost savings, and supplier performance across our manufacturing operations. What Youll Be Doing: Lead the operation of our MRP systems to ensure seamless production planning and avoid supply disruptions. Negotiate the best total acquisition costs for components and materials while maintaining high standards of quality and delivery. Manage RFQs, supplier proposals, and make informed recommendations using sound judgment and risk assessment. Conduct regular supplier reviews to drive performance improvements and resolve non-conformances. Draft and manage purchasing contracts and authorise supplier invoices. Support stock control and participate in annual stock takes. Collaborate with Goods Inwards and Purchase Ledger teams to resolve queries. Travel to other company sites as required. What Were Looking For: Proven experience in a purchasing or supply chain role, ideally within manufacturing. Ability to analyse data, solve problems, and drive business improvements. Flexible, adaptable, and able to work independently or as part of a team. Knowledge of export documentation and procedures is a plus.
