In the role of Service Centre Supervisor you will provide exceptional customer service and will play a crucial part in supporting managers to ensure the smooth running of the Service Centre and ensure all contracts are consistently managed effectively and efficiently.
What you’ll be doing:
- Allocate planned and unplanned work efficiently, ensuring all operational commitments are met
- Support managers with staff absence monitoring and holiday authorisation
- Conduct probationary reviews and support performance management processes
- Manage overtime budgets and ensure policy compliance
- Handle customer problems and liaise with external contractors
- Control spares ordering, inventory management and rental asset stock takes
- Oversee vehicle inspections, maintenance and service centre maintenance and housekeeping
- Deliver staff induction, training and team meetings
- Support APR reviews and skills matrix assessments
What we’re looking for:
- Experience in a similar supervisory role
- Strong IT skills and excellent communication abilities
- Financial understanding of revenue, pricing and margins
- Ability to influence and negotiate at all levels
- Leadership skills with flexibility across all operations
- Capability to build strong working relationships
- Welsh language skills are desirable but not essential
