Are you a proactive problem-solver with a passion for driving innovation and efficiency in manufacturing? Were looking for a Process Engineer to join our dynamic team and lead transformative projects that enhance performance, reduce costs, and boost competitiveness.

About the Role

As a key change agent, youll coordinate and drive development initiatives across the factory, focusing on process improvement, technical support, and adherence to corporate standards. Youll also play a vital role in product development, using CAD tools to deliver cost-effective and high-quality design solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage innovation and improvement projects across the factory.
  • Analyse and enhance manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and quality.
  • Design and optimise tooling and products using CAD (SolidWorks).
  • Facilitate and document meetings to maintain project control and alignment.
  • Reduce non-value-added activities and standard times.
  • Conduct and participate in Process/Design FMEA.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and implement permanent solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with company and industry standards.
  • Support capital investment projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

What Were Looking For

  • Strong knowledge of CAD software, especially SolidWorks.
  • Experience with ERP systems (Syspro, Sage preferred).
  • Minimum HNC/Degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent
  • Proven project management experience.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and DMAIC methodologies.
  • Green/Black Belt certification is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communicator with the ability to influence and motivate change.
  • Proactive and resilient in a fast-paced factory environment.
