The Role

We’re looking for a self-starter Product Manager to join Driva as we scale our business in the UK.

Driva is an Australian fintech that has grown rapidly and is now bringing the business to the UK. This is an opportunity to join us at a genuinely early stage in that journey and have a significant impact on how the UK product and customer experience takes shape.

You’ll be one of the key people building the UK business, working directly with one of our Co-Founders and our Head of Product.

This isn’t a role where you’ll be handed a roadmap and asked to execute it. We’re looking for someone who can be thrown at a wide range of problems. You should be comfortable using AI to research, analyse, prototype and solve problems quickly, while having the judgement to know when you can solve something yourself and when it requires a more robust solution from Engineering.

What you’ll be doing

  • Working across a broad range of product initiatives as we build and scale Driva in the UK
  • Finding the fastest practical way to solve a problem - whether that means building something yourself, leveraging existing tools or partnering with Engineering
  • Identifying opportunities to improve the customer journey, conversion and overall product experience
  • Identify opportunities to improve how the business operates, finding ways to streamline internal processes, remove friction, improve efficiency and build better systems that help the UK team scale
  • Adapting Driva’s existing technology and product to work for the UK market
  • Working directly with our Europe based Engineers to scope, prioritise and deliver product initiatives
  • Collaborate closely with our AU Product & Engineering team, sharing learnings and maintaining alignment across teams, while adapting to the needs of the UK market.
  • Using data, customer feedback and commercial outcomes to make product decisions
  • Using AI extensively in your day-to-day work to accelerate research, analysis, problem-solving, prototyping and execution
  • Have an impact beyond the traditional PM role. Working in a small, growing team means you’ll have the opportunity to work directly with partners, build new relationships, discover integrations, solve operational problems and shape new ways of doing things - giving you a real hand in building the UK business and product from the ground up

What you’ll bring

We're looking for someone who wants to be close to the action.

You’ll be joining at a foundational stage of the UK product, and will work directly with the UK Founder while partnering closely with our Head of Product. You’ll have a lot of autonomy and a broad remit, so this role will suit someone who enjoys variety, moves quickly and is comfortable figuring things out as they go.

As such, the following is a guide rather than a checklist:

  • 3+ years of experience in product, or a related role within tech industry
  • Experience taking products from idea through to launch
  • A bias towards finding the fastest practical solution to a problem - whether that
  • Experience building and deploying products, tools, automations or internal systems yourself - you don’t need to be an engineer, but you should be technically curious.
  • Experience working in a true start-up environment
  • Comfortable working with small engineering teams
  • Experience in fintech, financial services or another regulated industry is a plus
  • Remote first role: We are growing a team in the UK, so there will also be opportunities to meet up with the broader team to get some face-to-face time.
  • Thank You Days: Receive additional days off as a token of appreciation, with the number increasing each year, capped at 5 extra days annually.
  • Wellbeing Days: Enjoy 2 wellbeing days off per year so you can take time off to focus on your mental health.
  • Work from Anywhere: For up to 4 weeks per calendar year, you can combine a holiday with work, spend more time with family, or explore a new city.
  • Accelerate your Career: Take your professional growth to the next level with a Learning and Development budget and paid learning days, ensuring you have all the resources you need to excel in your career.
