Job Description
About Driva
Driva is one of Australia’s fastest-growing fintechs, transforming how people access vehicle finance by leveraging technology to offer a seamless, transparent, and customer-centric experience. In just five years, we’ve grown to a team of 120+, become the largest introducer for a number of lenders in Australia, and expanded into New Zealand.
Now, we’re bringing our proven model to the UK - and we’re looking for our very first boots-on-the-ground operations leader to help make it happen.
About the Role:
We’re looking for an ambitious, commercially minded, and deeply motivated Broker Lead to help launch and scale Driva’s UK business. You’ll be joining at ground zero - working directly with a co-founder - doing everything from working deals and speaking to customers, to setting up lender relationships and helping shape the product.
You’ll be the person who helps us prove product-market fit in the UK. This is a rare opportunity for someone with solid experience in the UK vehicle or asset finance space who’s hungry for more: more ownership, more impact, and a seat at the leadership table as we grow.
What you will do - Phase 1 (First 6 months):
Customer & Deal Execution
- Own the end-to-end process for customer finance applications—from initial enquiry to settlement
- Speak to customers and guide them through their finance options, balancing education with efficiency
- Collect, review, and manage required documentation for lender submissions
- Submit and manage applications to lenders, ensuring fast, accurate settlements
- Maintain strong compliance standards
Business Setup & Process Development
- Provide hands-on feedback to the product and engineering team (based in Australia) to localise our platform for the UK market
- Assist in setting up our initial UK lender panel, working closely with aggregator/lender partners
- Build repeatable internal processes that can scale as the UK business grows
- Contribute insights to marketing, pricing, and acquisition strategy based on customer feedback
What you will do - Phase 2 (6 months+ ):
As we grow the UK team, your role will evolve to include:
- Hiring, training and managing a high-performing operations team
- Scaling lender relationships and continuously improving our panel and pricing
- Leading cross-functional projects to improve customer experience and operational efficiency
What we are looking for:
- 2-5 years experience in car finance, asset finance, or related financial services
- You’re confident on the phones, great with customers, and love finding solutions
- You understand lender policies, have experience lodging and tracking deals, and are comfortable with compliance requirements.
- You’ve got hustle: you’re excited by the idea of helping build something from scratch and wearing multiple hats
- You care about building great processes—and know when it’s worth fixing something vs letting it fly for now
