About The Opportunity

To strengthen our operations in Maidstone, we are looking for a proactive and reliable Warehouse Operative who ensures daily warehouse operations run smoothly and in line with Driscoll’s quality standards.

Location: UK – Maidstone

Responsibilities:

  • Unloading, receiving, storing, and dispatching goods efficiently and accurately
  • Supporting day‑to‑day packhouse operations
  • Picking and preparing customer orders, including cross‑docking activities
  • Safely operating Mechanical Handling Equipment (MHE)
  • Ensuring stock accuracy through regular checks and audits
  • Maintaining accurate records using warehouse systems and scanners
  • Adhering to cold chain management to protect product quality and shelf life
  • Following health and safety, hygiene, and environmental standards at all times
  • Collaborating closely with colleagues to ensure smooth operations

Candidate Profile:

As a Warehouse Operative, you will be involved in all aspects of the operation, from receiving goods to preparing customer orders, always safeguarding product quality and maintaining our high standards.

  • You are a reliable and hands‑on team player who enjoys working in a fast‑paced operational environment, with a strong sense of responsibility and eye for detail.
  • Experience in a warehouse or similar operational environment (fresh produce experience is a plus).
