About The Opportunity
As a QA Field Advisor UK, you play a key role in ensuring and continuously improving fruit quality within the production region. You work closely with growers, supporting them in harvest processes, quality and food safety requirements, and customer expectations. You act as a bridge between growers, intake inspections, and customer feedback, translating data and analyses into concrete improvement actions. In addition, you help align Driscolls quality standards with growers capabilities, with the goal of driving continuous quality improvement and performance across the supply chain. We are looking for someone who lives in the Birmingham/Worcester area, ensuring a reasonable travel distance to the growers.

Education & Knowledge
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Food Engineering, Agronomy or a related field
- Solid knowledge of quality management systems such as BRC, IFS, HACCP and GlobalG.A.P.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in QA roles or agribusiness

Your Responsibilities
In this role, you are active in the field on a daily basis and work closely with growers and internal stakeholders to ensure the highest fruit quality. You combine hands-on experience with data analysis and are able to translate observations and results into targeted improvement actions. Through your advisory role, you contribute to continuous quality improvement from harvest to customer.
- Support growers in all processes related to fruit quality, including harvest processes and legal and customer Quality & Food Safety requirements
- Analyse fruit quality data at intake and translate insights into clear feedback for internal stakeholders and growers
- Coordinate and actively participate in internal meetings related to quality and grower performance
- Follow up on customer claims and provide structured feedback to growers
- Advise on preventive and corrective actions to improve quality, in close alignment with the Agronomy team
- Support and guide compliance with Food Safety requirements
- Support the implementation of new genetics from a fruit quality perspective
- Contribute to pilots related to new pack types or new specifications at grower level
- Identify and support more efficient solutions within the harvest process
- Ensure effective reporting systems and KPIs for QA services
- Support DEMEA Quality-related projects (e.g. Sweet Spot, Organic, Zero Residue)
- Perform any other tasks assigned by management that fall within the scope of the role
