Housing Disrepair Breach Handler in Liverpool

Driscoll Kingston & Co. are currently looking for a Housing Repair Breach Handler to join our vibrant and fast-paced Housing Repair Breach team.

A housing repair breach claim occurs when a landlord fails to fulfill a previously agreed-upon or legally mandated repair obligation, even after a housing disrepair claim has been initiated. This can happen if repairs were agreed upon in a settlement agreement or court order but were not completed within the stipulated time frame or to the agreed standard.

Main Responsibilities:

• Review cases to ascertain whether further legal breach action is appropriate.
• Drafting Proceedings and Applications
• Drafting Witness statements
• Good Knowledge of CPR
• Dealing with Social Housing Tenants
• Drafting Application and Part 8 proceedings
• Send routine correspondence to Clients, landlords and Solicitors.
• Liaising with experts, counsel.
• Preparation of Court hearing bundles
