We are looking for a confident and commercially minded Business Development and Sales Outreach Manager to help expand our UK customer base, generate qualified opportunities and build long-term business relationships.
The role involves:
- Identifying prospective customers and starting meaningful sales conversations.
- Converting interest into qualified commercial opportunities.
- Researching potential clients and conducting outbound outreach.
- Following up consistently and presenting the value of DripCEO's products and services professionally.
- Working closely with company leadership to improve sales messaging and support the continued growth of the business.
Main responsibilities include:
- Researching and identifying suitable prospective customers, partners and commercial opportunities.
- Contacting prospects through telephone calls, email, LinkedIn and other appropriate professional channels.
- Clearly explaining DripCEO's products, services and commercial value.
- Qualifying leads by understanding their requirements, budgets, decision-making processes and expected timescales.
- Arranging sales calls, demonstrations and meetings with interested prospects.
- Maintaining professional and consistent follow-up with potential customers.
- Building and managing a reliable pipeline of qualified sales opportunities.
- Keeping accurate records of outreach activity, conversations and next steps.
- Working toward agreed outreach, meeting, pipeline and revenue targets.
- Providing regular updates on performance, market feedback and customer objections.
- Helping improve sales scripts, email sequences, proposals and promotional materials.
- Identifying potential strategic partnerships, referral relationships and new routes to market.
- Representing DripCEO professionally at meetings, events and relevant networking opportunities.
- Developing a strong understanding of the company website, product offering and target customers.
Experience and skills required:
- Experience in sales outreach, business development, appointment setting, lead generation or a related commercial role.
- Strong written and spoken English.
- Confidence communicating with business owners, managers and decision-makers.
- The ability to explain products and services clearly and persuasively.
- Good research, organisation and time-management skills.
- A professional and persistent approach to following up with prospects.
- The ability to work independently while remaining accountable for results.
- Confidence using email, telephone, LinkedIn, customer relationship management systems and standard office software.
- A responsible approach to handling customer and commercial information.
- The right to work in the United Kingdom.
Experience in digital services, e-commerce, technology, marketing, professional services or online business development would be beneficial but is not essential.
Success in this position will be measured through the quality and consistency of outreach, qualified meetings generated, pipeline development, customer conversions and the strength of the commercial relationships created.
