Spiritly is on the hunt for a highly skilled E-Commerce Technical Lead to take ownership of our Shopify-based platform and drive the technical evolution of our fast-growing, internationally recognised business. Based in Belfast, this full-time, on-site role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies, collaborate with some of the world’s most renowned spirits brands, and contribute to innovative AI-driven projects.

Spiritly is a disruptive, best-in-class e-commerce business that supplies spirits and wines directly to consumers (D2C), businesses (B2B), and retailers (B2C) across the UK, Europe, and the US. We operate on Shopify but need someone who can go beyond the basics – someone who codes, problem-solves, and builds intelligent integrations to enhance our operations and customer experience.

The Role
We’re looking for a tech-savvy, Shopify expert who can:
- Develop, optimise, and maintain our Shopify Plus store, ensuring seamless performance and an outstanding user experience.
- Build custom functionalities and integrations, working with third-party partners when necessary.
- Enhance automation & AI capabilities, helping us leverage artificial intelligence for personalised shopping experiences.
- Handle all technical aspects of our e-commerce platform, ensuring security, scalability, and speed.
- Work closely with our design team, ensuring the site not only functions flawlessly but also looks visually stunning.
- Stay ahead of the curve, bringing innovative ideas and solutions to future-proof our platform.
What We’re Looking For
- Shopify Plus expertise – A deep understanding of Shopify’s Liquid language, APIs, and custom development.
- API integration experience – Ability to build or manage third-party connectors with ERP, logistics, and marketing tools.
- AI knowledge (a plus!) – Interest or experience in implementing AI tools for automation and personalisation.
- Strong eye for design – Ability to collaborate with designers and contribute to UI/UX improvements.
- Problem-solving mindset – You thrive in a fast-paced environment, can think on your feet, and take ownership of technical challenges.
