Our client, a market leading provider of anchoring and mooring solutions internationally, are looking to hire a Marine Supervisor . This can be a salaried or day rate role depending on the candidate’s circumstances.
Primarily based onshore, the Marine Supervisor will be responsible for supporting the delivery of client projects. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Marine Supervisor will work closely with their colleagues in a tight-knit team, while also representing the company in client interactions as a key focal point.
Key tasks and primary responsibilities will include:

Providing marine and anchor handling subject matter expertise.

Preparation of marine procedures and technical documentation.

Offshore attendance during pre-lay and rig-moving activities.

Budgetary responsibility for projects and schedule planning.
To be considered for this opportunity, candidates must have extensive seagoing experience either on-board anchor-handling vessels, at a rank of 03 rd officer or above, or on-board a semi-submersible MODU in a similar role. This role would be an ideal fit for a candidate with experience as a BCRO or Barge Engineer.
Additionally, experience of rig-moving and anchor handling activities and an in-depth knowledge of offshore / marine standards and regulations is essential. Applicants should also be capable of building and maintaining strong working relationships across both internal teams and external stakeholders / clients.
Ultimately, the necessary guidance and training will be provided at the outset and given the size of the team and the responsibilities associated with the role – the right attitude and personality is by far the most important consideration.
