Applicants need to have knowledge of heavy plant repairs, as well as knowledge of hydraulics, electrical systems, and welding and burning would be advantageous.
NVQ level 2 in Engineering Maintenance and/or equivalent.
- Carry out breakdown maintenance on company plant and equipment.
- Carry out planned and preventative maintenance on company plant as per manufacturers' instructions.
- Assist in carrying out repairs onsite as required by the company.
- Keep all maintenance records up to date and tidy as per the company's maintenance procedure.
- Look after all workshop tools and equipment, ensuring they are all in serviceable condition and secured at the end of the day.
- Keep the workshop area clean and tidy.
- Identify and source items required for maintenance and repair of the company's plant and equipment.
- Have basic knowledge of electrics.
