About the Role: The Data Processor is responsible for collecting, processing, and interpreting survey data in offshore environments such as oil and gas fields, subsea construction sites, or renewable energy installations. This role involves working with geophysical, hydrographic, and positioning data acquired during offshore survey operations. The Data Processor ensures that all collected data is accurate, properly processed, and ready for analysis or reporting. This position requires expertise in data processing software and systems commonly used in the marine and geophysical industries, along with the ability to work in remote offshore locations. Person Specification: Experienced in offshore data processing or a similar role Proficiency with data processing software, including QINSy, CARIS, EIVA, Hypack, or similar platforms Experience with geophysical and hydrographic data, including sonar, multi-beam, and sub-bottom profiler data Bachelor’s degree in Geomatics, Surveying, Marine Science, Data Science, or a related field Proficient in offshore survey data processing software and techniques Ability to analyse, interpret, and process complex data accurately High degree of accuracy in processing and quality-checking data Capable of troubleshooting data acquisition or processing issues in real-time Strong communication skills to work with multidisciplinary offshore and onshore teams Comfortable working in a fast-paced, challenging offshore environment for extended periods
