Job Title: Business Manager
Location: Drift Bridge Volkswagen, Epsom
Hours: Monday to Saturday, with one day off during the week, plus Sundays on a rota.
About The Role
Drift Bridge Volkswagen Epsom is looking for a motivated and commercially driven Business Manager to lead and develop our Finance & Insurance (F&I) department. Working closely with the sales team, you will play a key role in maximising profitability, improving finance penetration and delivering an outstanding customer experience. You will ensure that customers receive clear and transparent advice on finance and insurance products while maintaining the highest standards of customer service and FCA compliance. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced automotive professional who can drive performance, support the development of the sales team and contribute to the continued success of the dealership.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop the Finance & Insurance department, maximising opportunities across finance and insurance products.
- Monitor and drive renewals, service prospecting and CitNOW activity through the sales team.
- Support the sales team with deal structuring to maximise profitability and conversion rates.
- Ensure full compliance with FCA regulations and company policies.
- Monitor finance penetration rates and identify opportunities to improve performance.
- Coach and develop sales colleagues to improve their understanding and presentation of finance and insurance options.
- Deliver excellent customer service, encouraging repeat business and building long-term customer relationships.
- Work with senior management to implement sales strategies and achieve dealership targets.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure all regulatory and administrative requirements are met.
- Maintain high standards of professionalism and dealership presentation.
About You
We are looking for an ambitious, customer-focused individual with a strong background in automotive sales and finance. You may already be a Business Manager or Sales Controller, or an experienced Sales Executive looking to take the next step in your career. You will have a strong commercial mindset, excellent communication skills and the confidence to motivate colleagues, build customer relationships and deliver results.
Skills And Experience
- Experience in a Business Manager, Sales Controller or similar automotive role.
- Strong knowledge of automotive finance and insurance products, including FCA regulations.
- A proven ability to achieve targets and improve commercial performance.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- A professional, customer-focused approach.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- The ability to analyse performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- A full UK driving licence.
