About Driffield Mobility Group
Driffield Mobility Ltd has been adapting vehicles for disabled drivers and passengers for 30 years. Alongside it sits our two younger sister brands: Limitless Campers, launched in 2024 to build campervans people actually want to live in, and Limitless Conversions, a Bott service partner fitting out commercial vehicles for trade. Together we're the Driffield Mobility Group — three brands, one team, based in Driffield, East Yorkshire.
What you'll be doing
This role splits roughly 60:40 in favour of marketing. Marketing is the bigger side, but when customers are in the showroom, they come first. If you like variety and hate being boxed in, you'll thrive here.
- Marketing — across all three brands
- Planning and creating content for social media, building each brand's presence and following
- Keeping the websites current — new products, new builds, new offers
- Photographing and filming completed conversions and new stock
- Email campaigns, promotions and competitions
- Organising our presence at shows and events — from stand planning to follow-up
- Print, signage and local advertising
- Watching what actually works and telling us honestly what doesn't
- The showroom — mobility products and living aids
- Welcoming customers and giving them your full attention
- Understanding what someone actually needs, which isn't always what they walked in asking for
- Demonstrating products properly — wheelchairs, scooters, rise and recline chairs, daily living aids
- Handling quotes, orders and aftersales enquiries
- Building relationships so people come back to us, and send their family to us
- Small team responsibilities
- Everyone here answers the phone, signs for deliveries and helps unload when a lorry turns up. It's not the glamorous part, but it's the quickest way to learn our products and hear the questions customers genuinely ask.
What we need
- Some marketing experience or training — a first role, in-house stint, agency time, marketing qualification, or serious side project you can show us
- A creative streak, and confidence with a camera and phone
- Good written English — you'll be the voice of three brands
- Genuine patience and empathy. Many customers are older, newly adjusting to disability, or shopping for a parent and finding it hard
- Organisation, because you'll be juggling two workloads
- Happy to muck in — nothing is beneath anyone here
- Willingness to learn our products properly
What we don't need: retail or showroom experience, mobility sector knowledge, or a long CV. Full training on the product range is given.
Nice to have: familiarity with social scheduling and basic design tools, photography or video editing skills, experience running events or exhibitions, full UK driving licence.
What we offer
- Monday to Friday — no Saturdays, no late nights, no working your weekends around other people's shopping
- 21 days' holiday rising to 26 with service, plus bank holidays
- Healthcare cashplan and company pension
- Real ownership — you'll report directly to our Managing Director, so your ideas get heard and acted on
- A small, established team where you'll know everyone's name by the end of week one
- Training on our full product range
