Marketing & Showroom Advisor in Driffield

Driffield Full-Time No working from home possible

Who we are

Driffield Mobility Ltd has been adapting vehicles for disabled drivers and passengers for 30 years. Alongside it sits our two younger sister brands: Limitless Campers, launched in 2024 to build campervans people actually want to live in, and Limitless Conversions, a Bott service partner fitting out commercial vehicles for trade.

Together we’re the Driffield Mobility Group — three brands, one team, based in Driffield, East Yorkshire.

What You’ll Be Doing

Marketing — the bigger side, across all three brands

  • Planning and creating content for social media, and building each brand’s presence and following
  • Keeping the websites current — new products, new builds, new offers
  • Photographing and filming completed conversions and new stock (we do great work; it deserves to be seen)
  • Email campaigns, promotions and competitions
  • Organising our presence at shows and events — Great Yorkshire, DriƯield, Truckit and more — from stand planning to the follow-up afterwards
  • Print, signage and local advertising
  • Watching what actually works and telling us honestly what doesn’t

The showroom — mobility products and living aids

  • Welcoming customers into the showroom and giving them your full attention
  • Understanding what someone actually needs, which isn’t always what they walked in asking for
  • Demonstrating products properly — wheelchairs, scooters, rise and recline chairs, daily living aids
  • Handling quotes, orders and aftersales enquiries
  • Building relationships so people come back to us, and send their family to us

And the bit that comes with a small team

We’re a small team, so everyone here answers the phone, signs for deliveries and helps unload when a lorry turns up — the Managing Director included. It’s not the glamorous part of the job, but it’s the quickest way to learn our products and hear the questions customers genuinely ask, which is exactly what makes the marketing land.

Who we’re looking for

You’ll need some marketing grounding — that’s the side we can’t teach you from scratch. Retail experience isn’t necessary at all. We’ll teach you the products, and we’d rather have someone naturally warm with customers than someone who’s spent five years on a shop floor.

What we do need

  • Some marketing experience or training behind you. A first role, an in-house stint, agency time, a marketing qualification, or a serious side project you can show us — we’re not precious about the route, but you should already understand what makes a campaign work.
  • A creative streak, and confidence with a camera and a phone
  • Good written English — you’ll be the voice of three brands
  • Genuine patience and empathy. Many of our customers are older, or newly adjusting to a disability, or shopping for a parent and finding it hard. How you make them feel is the job.
  • Organisation, because you’ll be juggling two workloads
  • Happy to muck in. Small team, so nothing is beneath anyone here.
  • Willingness to learn our products properly. We’ll teach you; you need to want to know.

What we don’t need: retail or showroom experience, mobility sector knowledge, or a long CV. Full training on the product range is given.

Nice to have: familiarity with social scheduling and basic design tools, photography or video editing skills, experience running events or exhibitions, full UK driving licence.

What we offer

  • Monday to Friday. No Saturdays, no late nights, no working your weekends around other people’s shopping. Rare in a showroom job, and we mean it.
  • 21 days’ holiday rising to 26 with service, plus bank holidays
  • Healthcare cashplan and company pension
  • Real ownership. You’ll report directly to our Managing Director, so your ideas get heard and acted on rather than filtered through three layers of approval. This is a new role and you’ll shape what it becomes.
  • A small, established team where you’ll know everyone’s name by the end of week one
  • Training on our full product range
