A Junior Fashion Writer from a digital media/journalism background to support our editorial team. You will report directly to the Head of Editorial, as well as working closely with the wider editorial and fashion teams, to ideate and execute our editorial content across all DREST’s channels.

What you will be accountable for:

  • Game Content Engagement & Loop Performance: Ensure updates to the game’s daily core loop consistently reflect cultural trends and player data, contributing to measurable improvements in daily active user retention and content engagement rates.
  • Content Calendar Readiness & Editorial Quality: Maintain a high standard of readiness and relevance across editorial content.
  • Cross-Functional Content Enablement: Facilitate clear, efficient cross-functional collaboration across Editorial, Data, and Production teams.

What you will be responsible for:

  • Writing and uploading daily challenge copy for the game’s core loop.
  • Updating the editorial calendar and press diary.
  • Liaising with PRs and emailing ticket requests during fashion week.
  • Pitching new ideas in the editorial planning meetings.
  • Creating content for DREST’s Instagram page.
  • Working closely with the fashion team to ensure that our editorial content works in sync with our fashion uploads.
  • Creating slides for upcoming pop culture moments for the DREST seasonal trend report.

You’ll Thrive in This Role If You Have:

  • A background in fashion editorial/digital fashion media at a junior level.
  • Huge amounts of enthusiasm and a thirst to learn all about the world of fashion gaming.
  • An ability to turn around sharp sparkling copy at speed, as well as being able to adapt your tone of voice and copy to fit with the DREST editorial style.
  • A forensic approach with meticulous attention to detail and an unflappable, organizational master.
  • A strong visual eye, understanding of fashion and beauty trends and encyclopedic knowledge of fashion and beauty brands.
  • A keen interest in fashion industry innovation and fearless approach to breaking new ground.
  • A collaborative and flexible approach.
  • Be a font of fashion, beauty, entertainment and popular culture knowledge and have a vice‑like grip on what’s going viral at any given minute on social media.

You will distill all of this into the DREST editorial content offering, helping to guide our calendar, in‑app themed events and daily news challenge feed, creating exciting, market‑leading content.
