Join us as a Financial Accountant and play a central role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity and reliability of our financial reporting. In this role, you will bring strong technical accounting expertise to the month-end close, statutory compliance, treasury activities and financial controls, while helping to shape smarter, more efficient ways of working through process improvement and automation.
You will be a trusted finance partner to the business, providing clear insight, supporting informed decision-making and contributing to a finance function that is scalable, efficient and ready for continued growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of core financial accounting activities and ensure accurate, compliant and timely financial reporting.
- Manage the month-end close, including journals, reconciliations, management accounts and variance analysis.
- Maintain strong financial controls and support statutory, tax, VAT, audit and accounting requirements.
- Provide clear financial insight to the business to support planning, forecasting and decision-making.
- Drive process improvements and automation to create a more efficient and scalable finance function.
What you'll bring
- A recognised accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent.
- Strong technical financial accounting experience, including month-end close, statutory reporting, VAT, corporation tax and audit requirements.
- Solid experience in treasury, cash flow forecasting, working capital management and financial controls.
- Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with ERP systems, ideally in a manufacturing or multinational environment.
- A proactive, detail-focused and analytical approach, with the ability to organise priorities and solve problems effectively.
- A continuous improvement mindset, with an interest in automation, Power BI or other business intelligence tools.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build trusted relationships with stakeholders across the business.
