This is an exciting opportunity for you to join our growing Building Surveying Division in London. The role involves all aspects of traditional building surveying services across professional consultancy advice and contract administration of construction projects, from inception to completion. Within the role you will be working on a variety of projects in a wide range of commercial, education and public sectors.
What you'll be doing:
- Independent delivery of consultancy advice on a broad range of building surveying services, including technical due diligence, dilapidations, contract administration, acting as lead on multi-discipline schemes, survey activities and party wall.
- Full duties as contract administrator.
- Managing relationships with clients and sub-contractors.
Who we're looking for:
- Previous experience in a similar building surveying role.
- First-class communication and relationship-building skills.
- BSc in building surveying (or similar).
- RICS membership – chartered building surveyor status.
- Candidates must be able to demonstrate a good level of previous experience in all key aspects of traditional building surveying disciplines and contract administration, with a focus on developing client relationships and taking autonomy for specific instructions.
Applications are sought from candidates with a BSc (or equivalent qualification/experience) in building surveying. Membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors is essential, with at least 5 years post qualification experience.
