An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Control Systems Engineer to join one of the UK's largest system integration organisations as a permanent member of staff.

PRIMARY DUTIES

  • The design, documentation, development, testing and commissioning of PLC based control systems.
  • This will cover the complete system development lifecycle from initial design through to customer site acceptance.
  • Ensure designs are delivered to the correct quality in accordance with the required contract timescales.
  • Investigation and rectification of defects at customers' sites.
  • Supporting and working with the other engineers to ensure design interfaces are captured.
  • Ensuring the design is completed in accordance with company design procedures and safety design requirements.
  • Contribute to the establishment and implementation of best practices in software engineering.
  • Participate in cross discipline design reviews.
