An exciting permanent opportunity has arisen for a PLC Software Engineer to join a world leader in the design, engineering and installation of pharmaceutical-grade systems.
Duties:
- Design and development of control systems, including working to GAMP 5 requirements.
- Preparation/reviewing of URS, FDS, SDS, HDS, FAT and SAT documents.
- Design and development of software code primarily for Siemens S7 PLC and HMI using WinCC (Siemens Comfort Panel HMIs, IPCs and SCADA systems).
- Liaising with other Engineers during production of wiring diagrams, electrical control schematics, panel layouts and cable schedules.
- Providing technical assistance on obtaining quotations and preparing sub-contracts for control systems.
- Attendance at pre/post tender and contract meetings where there is a controls requirement.
- Assistance in controls commissioning activities including FAT and site SAT/OQ.
- Commercial and Technical responsibility for all elements of C&I.
- Defining scope of works from clients brief/tender documents to produce detailed activity plan.
