An exciting permanent opportunity has arisen for a PLC Software Engineer to join a world leader in the design, engineering and installation of pharmaceutical-grade systems.

Responsibilities include:

  • Design and development of software code primarily for Siemens S7 PLC and HMI using WinCC.
  • Liaising with other Engineers during production of wiring diagrams, electrical control schematics, panel layouts and cable schedules.
  • Providing technical assistance on obtaining quotations and preparing sub-contracts for control systems.
  • Attendance at pre/post tender and contract meetings where there is a controls requirement.
  • Assistance in controls commissioning activities including FAT and site SAT/OQ.
  • Commercial and Technical responsibility for all elements of C&I.
  • Experience in providing technical support to customers over the phone or via video call, diagnosing problems and helping them to overcome them.
