An exciting permanent opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Controls Engineer to join a world leader in the design, engineering and installation of pharmaceutical-grade systems.
Responsibilities
- The design and development of control systems (excluding software) for projects won in the group.
- This will include working to GAMP 5 requirements including the preparation/reviewing of URS, FDS, HDS, FAT and SAT documents.
- The production of wiring diagrams, electrical control schematics, panel layouts and cable schedules.
- Sourcing and procurement of control/electrical hardware.
- Managing the electrical control panel construction along with skid wiring activities and progress reporting.
- Managing any electrical installation activities on sites, including management of Subcontractors and providing progress reports.
- Providing technical assistance on obtaining quotations and preparing sub-contracts for control systems.
- Attendance at pre/post tender and contract meetings where there is a controls requirement.
- Assistance in controls commissioning activities including FAT/SAT/OQ.
- Carrying out site surveys and obtaining quotations for electrical works.
- Commercial and technical responsibility for all elements of C&I.
- Defining scope of works from clients brief/tender documents to produce detailed activity plan, estimates and quotations.
- Selection and procurement of process instrumentation.
