Role
This is a programming and commissioning role, the main focus will be on developing and implementing software on systems and all aspects of install/commissioning both at the company and at customer sites. This role will likely include approximately 40% of time on customer sites.
Objectives
- To be responsible for programming and commissioning of company systems
- To assist with customer support visits and calls
- To meet agreed deadlines for commissioning of equipment and systems
Responsibilities
- Carry out full system software, programming and commissioning which can include software, mechanical and electrical competence
- Carry out site installation, software integrations and commissioning
- Deliver customer training
- Offer technical support both remotely and on site for engineers and clients
Experience
- PLC programming - ideally in structured text (Beckhoff)
- Robot Programming
- Programming PLCs for automated machinery
- Creating electrical designs for machinery
- Commissioning machinery
- Electrical training and qualification
- KUKA robot programming training and experience
